Event Coverage Hamb relay....collierville, TN 38017

i just bought an olds narrowed rear end off of evil bay for Lil Beast...hopefully i can get a hand getting it closer to michigan than it is now in collierville, TN 38017 ...any Hambers around there???i know there's a few in Tenn, but not sure as to how close they are to my new rearend...fingers crossed, i went out on a limb to buy this, and i really can't afford to have it shipped up here but it was cheap enough that i just couldn't resistit..that and lack of a housing has really slowed my project ...so i figured it was time to "use the force....er i mean the power of the Hamb"....

 

forgot to add it is 41 inches wide, so a lil easier to transport..........

 

I can possibly get it to the Bowling Green, KY area.

 

how close to Straw Plains Tenn is that? 37871 is the Zip

 

It is outside of Memphis.

 

ahhh sorry I looked it up...38071 to 37871 is like 6 hours apart..further east

got a good friend in Straw plains..he can hold it for further travel if needed...lemme know

When do you have to have it picked up by?

 

If someone can get it to me in Clarksville, I can get up to Springfield to a HAMBer at the end of the month

 

I'll be in Bowling Green, KY in mid- to late-February and will be coming north to I-90, just east of Cleveland and then east on I-90. If there's anyone in that area that I can drop it off with, maybe they can take it west. There's a fellow HAMBer I know in Erie, PA that I could leave it with, too, if someone could pick it up there.

 

I can store it here in Lex if need be, and meet someone further north with it.
If flipper can get a little closer to me I could meet him for it.

If hotrodA(Bill) is coming to Nashville for the Feb swap meet and he can haul it, I can get it to Detroit for Autorama first of March.....
Like I said, a big "if".

 

which springfeild...i know of one in ohio??? right now the seller has not given me a time in which it has to be picked up by..i also am waiting to see if he is willing to get it closer to one of you guys in tenn...i really appericate all the offers for help, i really hope this works out..shipping it would really break me right now, i think..have no idea but figure it would be costly due to the weight..which i can only guess at what it weighs...and then there's always the wife thing...you bought what??where???*@)*(*$&&@@ form her...espically seeing as how her grand cherrokee went down thursday.....will post as soon as i hear anything...thanks again to all who have offered help...damn i love it here!!

well it is a fellow Hamber that i bought it off of...Kickstarter....and Flipper is trying to see if he can get it up to ky....will post as we go..and thanks to all who have offered to help....the power of the Hamb for ya!!!!!!!!!

 

i'll let ya know, i guess it depends on the starting out route it takes ...stay tuned, and we'll see as it goes....looks like it may be ky bound..............

hate to think of waiting till autorama to get it, but hey if it gets it here i think i can manage ...let me know what you guys think.....looks like i'll be buying the beer and grub for a few of ya at autorama???i go every year for the last 5 so......just as long as i don't get shot for being with my buddy old skool from Dub ...no i don't get into that crap, nor does he,,,he just happens to be the main transport driver for Dub..his nephew is the company controler....besides, all the chicks working the show dig him...and he lives up to his name....

 

ok it looks like Bill, hotrodA is going to pick up the rearend and drop it off to Earl Schieb and Earl is going to bring it to autorama where i'll pick it up..i want to thank all who have offered to help get it here and store it as needed to help also...will post as things progress, but right now i feel confident it's a done deal...thanks again to all........mark

and for the record, i'm in michigan just across the ohio line off I-75 and still make a few trips a year to cincinnati ohio...always willing to extend a hand to any one needin it , Hamb related or?????

..well hot rod A, Bill, picked it up from kickstarter and delivered it to Earl Scheib today..5 weeks and counting till cobo and autorama and when i'll pick it up from Mike...looking at brake options.......
