Thanks! This is the only other one I've ever seen. It belongs to some guy in Canada, and he claims it's real. I don't think so.

I just noticed that it has external trunk hinges (which a '51 like mine doesn't). It might be a '50 convert with a Vic hardtop grafted on.

Can't get the pic re-sized of my red and white 51 Vicky with Chevy power.

I used to have a shoe box contest at a run in Oregon. You simply took a shoebox and made it look like a car. Mine used a false nose from an old pair of gag glasses on one end and the other end I used popsicle sticks and made a small deck so I had a nosed and decked shoebox.

They are steel. I bought them in 1955 from a friend for $20 after his 50 got totaled. One of the smarter thing I did in life. LOL :D

My love affair with the Shoebox Fords began when I was 15. The 1at pic is me at 16 (50 pounds and 48 years ago) with 10 trophies I won the summer of 61 in the ols Stock F Class. Ran bout 18.5 and 65 MPH. Lost that car due to marriage and babys. Got another in 1965. Still have. One pic here in 74. Let it go to seed. Then in my second childhood. Started aproject with it. Has Chevy 350 & trans. Just got it running. Needs paint. Hated to go modern but this ol coupe had the old 6...and I just wanted too. Need to paint and will post more later maybe

The first pic is Summer of 61 when I won 13 trophies in ny 50 coupe.
Stock F, best 18.5 sec @ 65 mph. Really movin! The opter pics are another car I have owned sine 65. Restores in the 70s--went to seed.
Now have new 350 chev & trans. Just got it running. Old engine was 6. Just wanted to try this ---cause never could have a real streed rod in my first childhood. New build runs great. Need to pain and pretty it some.
