My father built this 392 HEMI powered '49 Ford in Wisconsin back in the 80s. Anybody know of its whereabouts today?

  16. I almost forgot my old 50 sedan...was heavily chopped by a guy here in town and I only owned it for a few weeks...sold it off to finance my next project.
Had a fatman front clip, must.II steering and a SBC with 350 turbo...all new stuff.
Now is black with green seaweed flames and owned by a guy named Scott in sunny California.

Just picked up this 51 off of Craigslist this morning, completely original except steering wheel and floor shifter. Flathead V8 was rebuilt in 1989 only about 1000 miles since it went into storage in 1991. Haven’t found any real rust yet.

Unfortunately I guess I am out of the club for now. I have had to sell my 51 Vert to finance my next build and hopefully some towards a new shop. On the bright side it went to another HAMB'er and good guy.

thanks. this car sat higher than any 50 I have ever seen. I used Aerostar front coil springs and a 3" lowering kit from Autozone. It still sits higher than I like but I will keep working on it.

I bought a scarebird disc brake conversion kit but that was a mistake! The calipers hit the steering arms and will not go on. The guys who buy the tci kit are happy with their disc brakes

after ditching one shoe box coupe project since it was way too far gone, I drove not north Kansas from Texas to purchase this coupe from a Hamb'r for my father. So if you need a frame or replacement sheetmetal let me know.

The previous project I had clipped and Z'd the frame but decided on this one to just leave well alone and do a engine swamp only so that my pops will have a cruiser instead of a never ending project..

Also found this pink shoebox dash filled with SW gauges at the swap meet. I would guess that the dash was done in the mid 80's, purchased for 40 bucks.. fix a couple of the cracks from being molded and repaint it
