    My Papa's '50. Boy I love this car! Its the first classic car I drove(in an empty parking lot but it still counts). I even took my graduation photos with it. Love the old shoeboxes 4950.jpeg 4964.jpeg 4955.jpeg 0221201823a.jpg 0221201822.jpg 1117191112e.jpg 1117191112b.jpg 1117191111f.jpg 1117191111a.jpg 0719191157b.jpg 4478.jpeg 4943.jpeg 4766.jpeg 4520.jpeg 4492.jpeg 4732.jpeg

I had one once (my avatar), got it just the way I wanted it....... and sold it. I came to really miss it,..... so I bought this in November! Currently building up a nice flathead for it. '51 Shopko lot.jpg

Here’s mine all together a few months ago. In the paint booth as I type this. Sealed today. Should have paint by Thursday.

I just saw it on Facebook and it said this

“If you know anything about this car please let me know. I just picked it up for a new project. It is a 1951 Ford Victoria cut down so the back back seat is gone. It had a 50’s Corvette engine in it but a Ford Flathead or FE 390 is going in it.”

    Certainly has potential I reckon

Here's a different slant on what to do with a '51 Victoria: IMG_9224.jpeg

  11. I’m in process of lowering my ‘51 Tudor Custom Deluxe. Rewired it last year.

Chopped 2 1/2". Wraparound rear window replaced with tailgate window from a '52 wagon, C pillars fabricated in sheet metal. Quarter windows lengthened 3". There's a build thread on here called "Let's chop 50Fraud".

Edit: Windshield is chopped less than side windows to avoid the "squint" seen on many chopped shoeboxes. This required removing the rain gutter above the windshield:

You want a coupe, tudor? Doesn't matter? There's a decent looking tudor in my town. Heck of a long drive home tho....

First road trip in mine in 7 or so years, have just finished an off topic (heidts) front end in it, drives so nice and feels so good to have it done and out of the shed all together and In the sun.

    Hi Cooon,
Quite low your car, looking really good. Is this height driveable? Or do you have airbags lowered for pics?

Rear un notched? Means frame not C‘ed and drive shaft tunnel not lifted?

That’s correct, that’s with 289/C4. Not sure if Victoria’s have a different frame to coupe/sedan?

Wow. I've never seen 180 shoeboxes together before.

    Edit: Oops, I guess it's 170.
