For three days now the HAMB is THE slowest loading site I go to bar none. Windows 7 pc with 250 GIG line normally not bad but lately terrible. Even stops loading and just sits there. Even with it being to ONLY site opened just liking a post drives it nuts get the "Working" small white blobs in upper right and it just sits there.

And did the usual clear cache defrag clean system and reboot nothing helps.

And it is ONLY the HAMB doing it all other sites are working normally.

    Time for a tune up?

loudbang, do you have a security system on your computer? Do a system scan and delete all your cookies and regularly go there and update if updates are not automatically performed. I'm guessing you have some spyware slowing your stuff down. If you can't get rid of it that way you can go back and reset your computer to an earlier date before the slow down. Find a kid to help, that's what I did.
Another possibility. Do you have a Toshiba lap top? If yes they had some problems with the wifi and battery packs on some of their models. Mine did the same thing with the white blobs so I use a hard wire
for connection and all is well. Good luck.

That was about the only thing I didn't try. Tried and seems better now.

That is part of my weekly maintenance. No spyware at all and automatic updates. Signed out and back in seems better.

Nope still VERY SLOW like dial up speeds with a 250 GIG connection. Just liking a post makes it stop and keep spinning.

That is just what mine did. Just for ****s and giggles try plugging in your battery charge chord and see if it makes a difference. I keep mine plugged in all the time no matter what level the charge is on the battery. Have not had a problem since.

I can't believe it it is actually GETTING EVEN SLOWER. Locks up just from liking a post and takes about 3 minutes for one thread to load.

Working good for me today. The Florida evacuation routes site, on the other hand, is glacially slow.

Well all I can say is all my others sites are working normally. I had done the regular cache dump, cookies dump. defragged, signed in and out. Nothing helps.

Tried a new browser Internet Explorer and it works GOOD. Looks like the problem is with Firefox 55.0.3
