i think the ideas are great, but as a printer some of the designs look pretty complacted.

well, some of you guys need to look at the old shirts for inspiration.

contest will be held, i'm sure.

after the calendars... read all the damn posts before asking stupid questions. boy, that never comes up on this board.

where the hell are the likes of foiled again, sailor, franco, mcphail, etc etc etc. you guys can expect some competetion when the staging lights come on.

so far, i think the designs are a little trendy. i like the monotone look of bromans concepts so far.

hamb banner on the front. design on the back (with the hamb banner). would really like to see something from sailor. actually i need to get in touch with sailor. you change email man?

so, chill. after 20bigillion pages, nobody reads the post anymore, dig?

  3. We've already got TWO HAMB shirts with stylised cars on them. I'm all for the more obtuse design with the shifter and striping.

Some great ideas though, that's for sure. The primer red looks cool too.

Just as long as it's about your pride, I guess it's ok. And just as long as it has nothing to do with this.

Had to come back and add this. After the shirts is this the next step for the HAMB? http://www.monsterhotrods.com/monster_hotrods_shoprags.htm

I really dont know what you're driving at John. You obviously have an issue about the HAMB shirt or the artists that are interested in being a part of it.

Why you dragged my company website into this, I have no idea. Why are you making this personal?

I never tell anyone on the HAMB about my business, I dont draw people to it, I dont include my web address with my signature.

Are you trying to come to the conclusion that I hope my design gets picked so it will drum up business for my company??

Many of the artists on the HAMB, including several of the contributing artists to this t-shirt design thread are small business owners and/or have thier own website.

The contributing artists for the t-shirt design should not be condemned for being business owners. We've volunteered our artwork, shared our talents and time with HAMB, to be used for all the HAMBers to enjoy.

    Its that simple.

Love all the ideas, i'll be in for a couple when it all comes together.

One thing tho, remember how hot a big design gets on your back when walkin around in the sun all day.

Simple is sometimes better. Kinda like me i guess!

Ryan said we're doing t-shirts!!! [IMG]

Sodbuster found this thread so I'd thought I'd bring it back to the top for those that haven't looked on the current HAMB sticker thread. What are your opinions on the designs that are shown here. Got any others to throw in the mix?

    Happy days, happy days! [IMG]

I vote for this shirt but with Ryan's coupe. It's not about who's car it is, it's about branding. We ALL know this logo!

Keep in mind that photos always turn out like shit-on-a-stick when you try to reproduce them onto t-shirts. Stick with the line art. There are guys on here - some have even posted in this thread - that are pros at line art drawings of cars/engines/etc. If you gotta have a car on it, use something that they've come up with that's stylized to fit the feel of the HAMB.

And, as said before, people will be more inclined to buy or walk away from shirts that have cars they like/don't like. So, that said, stick with a Ford and not an odd-ball GM or Mopar since the vast majority of guys are Ford guys - simple marketing.

New guy speaking up a bit.

The simpler the better in my mind(simple minded).

Ya start getting too much paint or whatever on your back or frontside and it gets way to friggin hot out in the sun.

Maybe the H.A.M.B logo over a shirt pocket and a nice line art/ pinstripe thingie on the back.

If I had a vote Ryan's coupe would be killer.

If I had the time I would do one with the vectorized version of Ryan's car posted above, instead I just put a sepia version of this pic on the shirt with the real HAMB logo font.

I think this should be the BACK of the shirt, I don't like huge graphics on my chest/belly, it looks too NASCAR for me - kinda tacky. We should do a small graphic, if any on the front. IMOHO.
