Event Coverage Hamb under attack!

I think it's pretty cool of our 'down-under brothers' to keep an eye on the gate while us 'top siders' are catching some zzzzz's. Good on ya mates & thank you!

there have been a few S10 and LS questions lately

I usually pop some popcorn when this happens

 

When you see it just !Report! it!

Think it's bad now click on the hamb at 3 in the morning,a lot less activity and the spammers know it. HRP

 

At 3 am today, there were 6 actual HAMB threads on the first 2 pages!
The rest were spam!
There were at least 3 accounts with 20+ spam posts, in less than an hour.

Last week I reported about 12 straight spams, but when I found 2 full pages last night I turned off the computer & went to bed. Thanks to all the guys that reported.

What the moderators need to do is change the format slightly.

99% of spammers join on the same day.

All they need to do is have a 7 day stand down period for the first posting,

Any attempt to post prior to this period should get re-directed so a moderator can scrutinise [and block IP address if needed]
This is needed because some new members can be too eager to post. But after scrutinising the post would realize it is H.A.M.B related

Edit: Don't allow new members to start new threads until they're posted a minimum number of replies might be a start [unless asking for permission first]

I think there should be strict rules before becoming a member. Then maybe we would still only have under 10k members like back in the day

 

Iv had a few spam replies from wanted threads that iv posted.

 

as soon as I stock up on my discount ***** pills I make it a point to report these jackwagons.

 

Dammit it's hard to keep up with them! We can do this together!

Well tonight must be the worst I have seen, I have reported about 40 SPAM threads from our Indian friends. I gave up because they were coming so fast and then reposting what had been reported.
So FU#K IT I have better things to do at night in New Zealand than chase these ****ers all over the first page. IM DONE, im not a moderator or a staff member, thats 2 1/2 hours im not getting back !!!!!!!!!!! JW
