I was talking to K member yesterday at one of the stops about his cheater slicks and how they have been in the rain (was thinking of running them on the 57).. he said they had been fine except one time that he did a 180 out of the blue.. well, he must have been having a crystal ball moment. those are great pictures

Ya know, I had a great day today. After we spun out and came to a stop, Old Beet says "Nice driving Son." and I said "Thanks Dad." And then we turn around and after about 3 minutes we looked at each other and just started laughing our ***es off. Dad says "Instant karma, just add water." and we laughed some more. WoW! Yeah, JKustom and I changed tires and I gotta tell you, it was still slick out there today these hills were tough today. Good to meet some more of you all. Chris, you are a very strong and grateful man. I can't imagine what you and your wife have been through. So glad I went down there and meet you all, I feel I should done it sooner. Andy, you're one tuff dude, hang in there litte brother, it looks like things are looking up and your on your way to a great recovery. It's a great pleasure to know you bud.
Just got home and the first thing I did was look for something about how Andy was doing. You guys DIFINITLY rule. I'm sure glad you posted pictures as I've been interested in how Andy would take the walk down to see you and in general how he was doing. From the looks of it it sure seems like he should be on his way home soon. Again, thank you to all who braved the weather and gave Andy another reason to get this thing behind him and get on with his life. Frank

I already knew Beetle was good people. The rest of ya are top notch too. Today I am PROUD to be a HAMBer. I show my wife the pics. Now she knows why I hold ya'll in such high esteem. What a great day, I think Andy really enjoyed it. His smile (he couldn't wipe it off his face if he tried!) said it all. Ya know, I woke up this morning feeling a little ****ty, looked outside after crawling out my warm bed and it was like 9am and I normally am up before 7am on the weekends. I was like, damn, I ain't gonna go do this. I feel ****py, it's raining and I'm running late. But then I went to the bathroom and looked at myself and realized how lucky I am to have my health and the least I could do was go support a kid that is undergoing the battle of his life. I got my *** in gear and was so glad I did this for so many reasons. Andy, you are one helluva fighther young man! I want you on MY team!!! Get well soon so we can see you participating in these cruises, not watching them from a wheel chair! Ok, I have a few more pics I'll post in a minute. Hey Chris, I left my umbrella at Harbor View. Did you happen to grab it? The big blue and white one in all the pics. Lemme know. If not, no worries. Good to meet some of you and see others I haven't seen in awhile. And damn that hill!! Gotta say how happy I am that I made it out. (thanks for the push-starts guys). Was real nice to meet everyone. But most importantly, glad I was able to do my little part to make a great kid smile in tough times. Damn it really made me feel good. All the best Andy.
