Thanks for the update. Sure was glad to see the good news. I'd bet Andy has more friends that are many times older than him than most kids his age. His love for hotrods and the desire to beat the health issues have earned him a place in a lot of hearts.
I think not, I will admit it got to me too. Never underestimate the power of prayers, positive thoughts, well wishes and the will of a 12 year old. Way to go Andy, hang in there bud we are all pulling for you
I have been checking these posts since 5 AM (EST) for an update and this is the best news I could have hoped for. To tell you the truth I was starting to get worried. God bless you Andy, way to go. You will be home before too long and wearing that HAMB Drags T-shirt we sent you along with the dash and other goodies!!!
Latest news from Chris............... Hi Everybody, Well the first surgery is over. IT was a success. Andy was in for about 10 hours and stayed stable through the whole surgery. The Tumor was much larger than expected as shown on his M.R.I images. They resected 100% percent of it from the brain. No paralyse ,No permanent Trach, No permanent feeding tube, Our prayers were answered Thank God and all who prayed. So having said this we are half way there.The next surgery sheduled for sometime next week will consist of the last 2 surgerys that they are going to try to accomplish the same day. I will keep you posted . I spent all nite with Andy and he is doing great. They told me he would be out cold for three days so dont expect much only sleep. Ha, A hour or so after they told us this. I was sitting next to him with Rosanne talking and he opened his eyes and looked at the both of us. I said "Andy ,Your Good ,you did great ,Tumors out ,No permanent trach, no paralyse, your goin to be fine.He looked at us and winked with one eye and put his thumbs up by his side and went back to sleep. We were amazed and so were the doctors of his strenght and perserverence to beat this dreadful disease. God love you all . Chris
Just one more proof that When God is in the mix things go better. All of the prayers have done their job. I've felt the healing power of prayer first hand it's REAL. Now Andy, rest up so you'll be in good shape for the next round. Together we'll see this thing conquered. Frank
