Andy, Like Rich Venza said - the loss of one eye doesn't slow him down in playing with his toys ! Maybe you can engineer a way to see twice as much with just the one eye ! Keep on fighting there ! 41 Dave
Great to see you post Andy. I'm betting you don't think of yourself as a hero, most real ones don't, but you are a hero to many on this board. When life gets ****py and we start feeling sorry for ourselves we just have to look to you as an example of bravery, and positive energy. Prayers continue from Oklahoma, Stay Strong! GV
Stay strong Andy, Your fight helps me keep my problems in perspective. Cant wait to see you cruizin your ride.
Andy, It was good to read your post, and this thread. Mr Venza hit it pretty good. We each hit our bumps in the road, It's then that the measure of someone comes through. Thanks my friend, for the inspiration. Know that the words you send mean alot to us all. May spring bring some fine cruises your way.
hi, andy. i don't get much hamb time any more, but i signed on tonight and searched for "hambandy". it's good to hear from you again. i know' it's been a while since you put this up, but it's the first i've seen of it. we're still prayin' constantly for your health and safety. check in and let us know how you're doin' from time to time, please. any chance you can get to the hamb drags in '09? i hope so. and so do several thousand of your other closest friends.

Andy, this is my daughter Gretchen. She has been blind in her left eye since birth. She loves the HAMB and driving my old 1962 car. Stay tough bud.............
Andy, With all of the grumbling about the economy, how bad things are, and how "scared" everyone is of the changes happening right now you are a ray of light in these crazy times. The fight in you is inspiring to us all. I only hope I grow up to be half the man you already are (and I'm already 41)!
my family's prayers to you and yours..we can get thru this together..you keep fightin' we'll keep prayin'
Andy, take from us that know first hand - two eyes are over rated!!!! Having been blind in one eye for the last 30 years hasn't kept me from doing anything I set my mind to - well everything except 3D movies and I'm told that the "NEW" ones will work for guys like me. Hang tough - don't sweat the little stuff!!!!
I haven't been up on your latest as I have had a little hospital stay of my own. Those pesky knees of mine finally demanded some attention. I got one replaced and am recovering. They wouldn't do both at the same time like was planned due to my heart catherization and placement of three stents. So, I have to get this one in shape and plan for the other at a later date. you and I are keeping some medical personel in a job aren't we? Keep strong little buddy, My wife and I still are praying for you to completely beat this thing. Frank
