Jason, did you ever get the coupe figured out? It sounded to me like it was coming from the right rear carb. Just wondered if you had checked it out yet. It sounded ****ing cool going down the track still. Oh well, time to get ready for the Day of the Drags! See ya soon man.

The fireworks REALLY lit him off!

    "sthoppit you guys... golly"

Every time that I went thru the lobby to use the lobby restrooms, I heard the guy at the front desk on the phone telling people "yes, I'll go out and tell them to stop" and "I know that they are loud, we are on top of it"....

I got a "wakeup call" at 2am from the front desk.

"Mr. Cochran could you please come down here and tell your people to cool it."

"My people? I have people? I didn't know I had people!!!"

"Well, your car show people. This is your car show, right?"

    I went back to bed.

I saved some of the chunks of rubber off my tires, the stuff I s****ped off of Beatnik's arm who was behind me in his little roadster. Sure glad I made it home on those tires. [IMG]

On a side note, this morning in the weekly sales meeting the VP asked the sales folks in general what they did over the weekend, of course meaning sales related. No one was answering him so I said, with a straight face
"I laid a hellaious burnout in the host hotel parking lot in Joplin, MO on Saturday nite." Then I grined [IMG]
