Some how those fire works got in my hands...they were a little wet but I got them to fire. The staff over at gringo's all had their faces pressed against the gl*** watching us the whole time. I think they were scared to come out!

God damnit Hank... I'm not cool if people think it's empty!!!

Minibikes... I have to admit it - the sound annoys the **** out of me too.

I saved some of the chunks of rubber off my tires, the stuff I s****ped off of Beatnik's arm who was behind me in his little roadster. Sure glad I made it home on those tires. [IMG]

    That was so ****in' cool!
Denise rolls by SCALLOP 53 and me and says, "I'm gonna do a hellacious burnout. Think anyone will care?... Too bad."
And with a little help from SODBUSTER's {I think} beer bleach-box, she lit up Big Olds and gave us the stuff.
That smoke must have hung there for 5 minutes... and the pile of rubber was actually smoking for 10.

I'm sure you'll all see that pile of rubber go up for sale in an up-coming HAMB auction... I'll start the bidding at $20.

    And thanks RYAN... for everything.
    Sure... we're your people.
The HAMB is HUGE and you're the king of it all.
Those that showed up at the drags are the "core" of the ********.
I'm going to be 40 in a couple of months, and I told myself this year was going to be my last HAMB drags... I lie to myself sometimes.
See you next year... hopefully with dual quads and posi.

Does anyone have a pix of the burnout? I was just a little smokey, and I think that beatnik was looking for oxygen after you drove off. I did save a little bit of your burn-out for a future (?) auction or award.

Me and two other people got a plastic zip lock and saved Denise's rubber pile. We were going to auction it off on the board. I was a little intoxicated and I can't remember who scooped it up. It may have been sod buster or Hank Cash??? There was three of us I know that much...and we did put it in a ziplock bag... ah hell!

I have it saved in alittle plastic container. I'm going to s****book it [IMG]

When I pulled into JimC's garage about 10 miles after the burnout and shut Big Olds down there was still a strong burnt rubber smell. Beatnik had to take a shower to get the smell off him [IMG]

I would LOVE to have a copy of the burnout. I'll have it blown up and hang it on my office wall. [IMG] [IMG]

Sodbuster produced a Dorito bag from his car and he and Raven61 scooped it full. We were all commenting on Raven's prowess with his room key s****ing and arranging the pile. I believe Sodbuster ended up with it. We were gonna auction it..

    Caught in the Act...

That's right...I remember now...Sodbuster turned the Dorito bag inside out so he didn't get any cheese on the freshly burnt rubber. That is exactly what I remember. I was standing right there laughing my *** off!!

    Good Call KC ****o!

Yeah, I had to take a picture, I was still buzzing a little from the track.. It was great a nice burnout just wish I could have gotten my camera into movie mode for the actual act.. but I couldn't remember what pocket I had it in.

I left with Mel after I couldn't think any more. I did have a front row seat for the Denise Show. It was cool.

Next year I need to plan on driving home monday...even if you wanted to sleep it was hard too with that minibike circling the hotel like a junebug on a string! Whoever the girl was making the first laps early in the evening had everyone else beat though...she was pushing it really hard into that first turn....

On the burnout...can you imagine what effect it had on my son? I don't think he knew such a thing was possible...he's ruined for life now [IMG] (thanks denise, you did good!) I think the funniest thing was beatnik sitting there with only his head visible through all the smoke...!

Yea, RACEFAB I tried to find out who you were, but when I asked Ryan if that was you. He said that was your brother and he was not sure where you were. I guess you must have been helping out Root. I will try to meet up with you next spring, now that we have a friend in Seatle and a free place to stay.

    Denise,
I wish that I would have taken a pix, but the camera was in the room. If any one has a good pix of the burnout, please post it so that I can save it.

Sodbuster, do you still have the rubber?

The kitten on the mini bike was Krista, Outlaw's old lady.

    She was gettin it on!

I can not seem to figure out the "Fotki" site for posting a pix. I wonder if you need to upgrade to the premium account to transfer pix?
