Regretfully, but also remembering fondly, another of our membership has left us...Hamber BigO was just another of the gang here really. He had a pretty cool A Coupe at one time, and he had an out of the box outlook on Hotrod/Custom influenced by one of his Dream Cars Zombie crafted as an inspiration for him...he never realized that though...as was mentioned in a Thread on where he was he had 47 or 8 Coupe he was working on...We had some conversation via PM and he asked if I could do him a few images of his A Coupe to gift to friends who helped him make it happen...I did and gifted the prints to him...he really was thankful and wanted give me something in return so he was making a winged woman hood ornament into an artpiece for me...I think shortly after this conversation his illness was creeping up on him although he faced it bravely as many here have done...he didn't get her done but I know he would have liked too... We were both born the same year and through our short virtual friendship here he said I was like a brother in many ways. Well Mike...I will miss you as a brother too...may you rest in peace with some Hotrod/Custom in between... I'd like to also extend belated condolences to the Overcash family and friends in Mike's passing... Agreed I'd like to see some of his automotive related sculptures he did...I wonder if his 39 moved on or was still with him till he passed...I hope it gets built in his memory...
Oh man what a bummer! I chat with him several times about his 47. I thought it was a perfect patina car.
That really sucks. So many guys have passed since I joined. There are other members here that I always wonder about, but not knowing their real name makes it hard to check on them. Going through my recent adventure, I had a bunch of guys here reach out to me, because my info is on my profile. And I really appreciate the support, I wish I could check on some of the these other guys, you truly become friends on here. Rip Big O
Sad to read this, we had a few PM's back and forth on HAMB related things, he left us way too soon. RIP John.
Another great long standing member. my condolences to his friends and family. I too enjoyed his posts.
I write this too much lately: My sincerest condolences to those whom loved him or called him friend. Godspeed BigO.
I’ll add my condolences to family and friends. As mentioned before, these threads are tough to reply on.
Thanks Hambers for the kind words...I'm sure he'll be smiling up there...Cruisin in that 39 parting the clouds...
Man it is terrible another hamber is gone so young. Big O was a good guy never met him in person but we shared a few "conversations" over the years. He will be missed.
