i dont know if har**** posted this but you guys know jesse james godfathers black 40's caddy? well har**** striped it, and they show it in a new rap **** music video called rose by the outkasts.

 

I never seen that ride before. That's bad***! Got any more? What's striping look like?

Whoaaaa...looks like ‘46/’47 Caddy pontoon front fenders, ‘48/’49 Sedanet roof…rear fenders look like they could be ‘46/’47… Man...I’d like to see more of that car!!! It’s slinky!

they show some nice views of the front and rear, but they go by quick. ill keep on looking on my comp for more pics, but i know har**** has a handfull of em.

 

i did see the video and they do show the car is very quick shots. but from that picture, that car is wild. it looks like a long *** car as well. i dig it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe that's a Frank DeRosa built cad. Sure looks like the headlight treatment he likes to use.

They look to be W113(230-250-280SL)64-71 Euro lights.

 

Whoa mikes51, Frank DeRosa, That's a blast from the past! Do you or anyone know what ever happened to him. I remember following his and his son's exploits in custom and lowrider mags in late '70's and early '80's.

wow thats a very cool car! Im too tired to even THINK about how much work went into that, it looks like it was definately worth it though!

 

MTV ****ing ****s but that car ****ing rules. And give Outkast some credit, if it were a REGULAR rap video it wouldn't be a Caddy custom, it'd be an Escalade with 24" wheels and hydraulics.

 

i think har**** said he spent like a week striping it.

 

I like the width of the stripes. They jump out nice, and fit the size of the car.

I saw that video. It's about I think a talent show or something and one of the guys in Outkast is like the 50's nerds, and the other guy in a 50's car club, driving that car. Pretty ****y, but sweet ******* ride.

 

I thought Jesse owned it, since it was at his shop all the time, but i was corrected by DWK... Is it me or.. , that car never comes out to shows, only like once a year? I been hunting down pics for a year or so, and only have 3 from the same show....

That thing rocks! I'm not a huge custom fan - I like 'em, but more of a rod guy, but that thing is awesome!
