Welcome to Oklahoma. It's a damn sight better than CA (where I lived for way too long). Great people, great food, central location for several large car shows (GoodGuys and NSRA). And with a mid-50's Buick, you can use that as a storm shelter!
Wish I had a way to bring more of my projects, fortunately my F100s are fully dis***embled and stackable.
July is a hot mother here in Oklahoma!! You will be pretty close to Lake Thunder Bird aka DIRTY BIRD, be sure to check it out...if you thought you have seen some goofy people late night inside Wal-Marts....get ready because you are in for a treat! I am from Midwest City, right inbetween Norman and that place with all that gross *** orange. -Charlie
I guess you've never seen any of my posts. They end like this. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Like told the kid, "Your musics not too loud, its just like OKC, it ****s!" Tulsa is the garden spot of Oklahoma, Edmond is beautiful because OKC ****ed all the ugly out of it.
July in Oklahoma felt like I had an invisible wet blanket on me - but heck I did'nt care - it's nice there! Also the Cowboy Museum in OKC - spent hours inside there - if you like westerns and the west - well worth the trip!
