Glad you are OK, and doing well. Take it easy and let yourself heal before trying to do too much!

I'm so THRILLED to read that your home safe and sound. What an awful experience to have to go thru. Just take it easy at home and do what the doctors told you and in no time you'll be up, running around, and telling those boys how things should be done.:D

As far as B'ville goes, there always is next year and since Rudy and I have plans to go why don't we all make plans to cruz out together.

I'll call ya in a couple of days and you can fill me in on how bored you are.;) :D

One more thing, what size t-shirt are you???

Great news, glad to see that your back and at least is somewhat good spirits. Healing will take time, try not to overdue it. Look forward to seeing you behind the wheel of your truck. I am sure our paths will cross again soon. Heading to Wooster next weekend. Wish my very best to both you and Matt. Dennis

first, welcome back chevygirl, you sure to be in good spirits considering what happened! good luck healing!

Tudor, really, not much. it did it to me under full throttle acceleration, crappy shifter let it go past third gear shifting manually, i caught it quick so it was only a second of the rear end getting loose...and the tranny lived. that doesn't sound like what happened here though from the description.

Yes, putting a TH350 into reverse while going forward will lock up the rear wheels.

I had it happen last fall on wet pavment( luckly) in my 327 powered roadster. I was shifting into nuetral and went to far and hit reverse, locked the rear wheels up bad.

The newer computer controlled automatics have the safety features the old stuff doesn't.

So, I wouldn't rule out the possibility, but we won't know until they tear it apart.

Actually my boss threw his Lexus into reverse as he was going through the gears on an onramp here in LA...locked up the rears and caused the SUV behind him to total both vehicles...the SUV driver got the ticket, my boss got a new car....ba*tard

    I'm glad you're home M

You're a tough Ohio chick. You'll end up better than new.

Take it easy, relax, and you'll be ready to roll by spring.

If you guys need anything at all from up our way, don't hesitate to get ahold of me.

You'll be alittle more mobile by the time the Brimfield Nats comes the first weekend of Oct., so hope to see you and Matt there.

  29. Skip (DeSoto) was over this past Saturday updating the wiring on my truck. When I told him about the accident and who was involved he was shocked because he'd met and talked to you in Louisville.

Glad to hear you're home and that the healing process has started.

Good luck on your recovery - hope it's a speedy one.

    Dennis
