HAMBers in the Huntsville, AL area, PLEASE READ

Hey folks, I have an odd request here. I’d like someone to help me out if possible. My 27-year-old son is stuck in Huntsville, AL from now until December 19, except for the weekend of the 13-14^th attending school for his job. He found out not long before the left that the Mrs. is now expecting my second grandchild and he REALLY didn’t wanna go.

Is there anyone down there who would be willing to swing by the Courtyard by Marriott and give him a good Southern HAMB howdy one evening or this weekend? He’s watched me build my coupe since day one and I’m sure he’d love to see how you guys down there do things. If anyone is interested in helping my boy feel not so far from home this close to Christmas. Please let me know. PM and I’ll send you his hotel info and schedule.

Bump for the day crew...

 

hes in luck this sat 06 dec a large hot rod fuction is going on in Athens Alabama about 18 miles form the place he is staying, Its at CBI or Charley Baucoms Hot Rod shop always about 400 cars all free inside parking for the first 150 or so. Its straight out hwy 72 turn left on Mooresville road its about 1 mile down. The bld no is 13800. Its just before the I 65 intersection.. Is he here for bomb school??

Yeah, he's staying right down the road from there at the Courtyard at Marriott. And he's gubberment number cruncher, so I'm not sure why he's down there. Someone PMed me about this open house early today and I think Josh is going to it.

Dan, I think he's one of those who looks at things and says how many to order or something like that.


I was hoping to get someone to stop by during the week after his classes. Finding something on the weekend but to find something to kill time in the evenings, (when you're happily married) is tough. If anyone is interested, I have his current contact info I will PM if asked.

BTW, there is a Christmas Parade this Saturday, Downtown Huntsville at noon.

 

One more day crew bump...

 

I'll call my Uncle up there. He's an old school rodder from the 60's. He builds prototype models and shit for the gooberment. Huntsville has a very "interesting" list of businesses around there doing govt contract work. *puts on tin foil hat

My uncle also moonlighted as a strip club DJ for almost 10 years. Not that he should take your son on a tour. Just sayin'.

 

Maybe not, but it's good to know we have THAT HAMB connection there...
