  4. Our system is a water transfer deal or sometimes called hydrographics. It's not as much as an art form but still takes a bit of talent and experiance to do. Not a bunch of brush work but a system were the part is submerged in a tank that has the grain patern floating on the water. When the part passes through the patern it is transfered on to the part. Hard to explain but kinda interesting to see.

    Good idea...I'd be happy to pay for the cost of a DVD and mailing just to see the process. I had a guy paint a Harley for me years ago with this technique except it wasn't using a film, he actually floated lacquer paint on the surace of the water and then dipped the tank and fenders through it. Red, white, and blue marbled flames...way cool!
