Nothing to really ad hear! Just really glad we have sooooo many hamb greeters these days! I look in the intros to find local aka folks within a couple hunnert miles of me, to welcome them now and then! Half the time the whole page is the same member welcoming everyone from every corner of the world! I dunno, I think I'd rather get pd to do it at walmart then spend the whole day on here doing it for free! Plus I'd have a *****in blue vest! Some of those members of the "Welcome Wagon" need to seriously get a life. One of them ( I won't embar*** him by mentioning his name ) sent me a friend request. I don't know the guy from Adam, so before I nix his request, I checked out his profile page. The dude has almost 1700 friends listed !! Are you friggin' kidding me?.....and I'm sure he knows them all personally
I don't really care about it anymore! Used to piss me off but now I just laugh! Newbs crack me up! And annoy the **** out of me when there being ****s, but I'm sure they thought I was a **** when I joined! 120,000 hambers ago!
Its pretty damn annoying. I only respond for one of three reasons......... One: I already know you. Two: You live near me. Three: You own the same kind of car that I do. It ****s having to wade through three pages of posts just to find "Welcome!" sixty times.

There is a big difference, though... At Wallmart the greeters are already there. These guys walk in with the people they are greeting... But it doesnt matter. It doesnt look like Ryan has a problem with it. And there is one thing I really love about the Intro Forum. Its easy to ignore.

I was wondering about the "friends" thing myself.. What is it for? I use my to keep tabs on someone I may have given a part to or want to keep up on what they are building. Is there any reason I am missing other than that? Is there a specail function only friends can see? a decoder ring? I do look at my friends list every now ant then and wonder who is that ? And why ? I can say I have met some cool people on here. I guess what I'm getting at is I use the friends list like a contact list......
Plus the other big difference is the Walmart Greeters get a weekly paycheck. We get the satisfaction of ...... um.... let me see Moderating and 30 emails a day of ... no wait....
