Hey Leon- we will be there (me and CHOPSHOP) running the Right Coast Association vendor booth and hanging with the flamethrower guys as we have for the past gazillion years.
When it gets closer, PM me and we can exchange cell #s and meet up.
    Anyone else too of course...

we will be there all weekend (actually I wont be there Friday but CHOPSHOP will be) right by the pavilion with the 56 Chevy.

Jim: you know the Model T Nats arent at Worcester anymore right? They moved to the Right Coast show in Berling CT (Eastern States Nats) in August.

In any event- us HAMB -ees should all hook up- when it gets closer we can make arrangements.Itll be cool

didnt get to the show until almost 4 (working.) BUT as usual- my Summer Nationals curse hit me ...again.

Sprung a hood hing as I was leaving and it smashed the side of my fender. Shit.
Oh and I guess I didnt mention I also overheated downtown?

In the past three years, ive:
blown the tranny AT THE SHOW
screwed with the REST of the motor AT THE SHOW
    and now this-AT THE SHOW

I guess I should actually take the time to work on my own car instead of customers rides for a change! Also another reaosn why I try not to use used parts at all in customer rides- new usually = better.

I should probaly just leave the damn car at home next year. And Im not even doing burnouts with it anymore...

Planning on a full rebuild anyway startin in the winter, The paint is 6 years old- needs to be brought down to bare metal and do a frame off again.

So is anyone going to post some pics from Worcester, or wasn't there anything worth shooting???????

  24. I'm skipping it for TWO reasons.

First: Japanese shit turns me off and the last time I went there, the place was chock full of it.

Second: I'll be wiring the old Fran Bannister roadster, which, in my mind, seems a lot more productive than sitting around wathching a bunch or morons in clapped out Chevy pickups frying their tires. Hell, anyone with a pick-up can do THAT.

Hey.. I was there.. Had a great time....... cept for W-Sta PD...They are the most incompetent, arrogant assholes I've ever seen...
Pontiac Slim said that.... Hope they get this...sent my views and whys to summer nats web site..and I'll be yap'n to Bob about the matter.

After 14 years they may not see me again... but I'll tell ya what...if I go again W-Sta PD best be ready.. They ain't got a cop or a car that's got balls big enough to catch me one on one ( A Mass state cop found that out in 97 on rt9)

    Enough for now

PS will post pic this week (when I calm down)

forgot the camera of course. I saw some cool stuff but just didnt feel like it.
Slim- what happend this year -can you elaborate?

You all know that Bob is sick right? He has some major surgery in May - thats why you didnt see him raoming the show field and had to leave a lot up to his kids- he was the one in the AC'd cop car who traveled around the field. He is doing much better now but still is in lots of pain. And Im sure he let stuff slide this year to concentrate on his health.

  28. That car's been a long time coming hasn't it?
It just may be my second favorite local car next to Norm Wallace's.....well, that and a certain hemi powered 4 door sedan!
    :p
