My wife saw the A 'speedster' and went 'now that looks like fun'. Aha! This could be buy in on the project. Any info/pics on the car below? I see an A sedan de-roofed, on an A frame, frame width channel, suicide front end, split bones, '35 wires, no cowl ... so I am not sure of the year.

I took a few shots of that car myself...I should have the film developed today or tomorrow. I'll post what I got for ya...I'm sure I took at least ONE frontal shot.

Ask Kulturepimp about the specifics, but it is a VERY cool project in progress! I looked it over and really dug it! (The 32 rails stashed under it are for another project).

Just one of MANY wickedly cool cars/projects there on Saturday!

Here it is from a front angle. The other couple pics I have of this car are similar to the rear shot shown above. I wish I woulda gotten more detail shots of this thing!

Kulturepimp might be able to help you out with more pics and info...the car is a shop project.

Well, here's what I got...I lightened up the pics a little to make the details stand out better.

    Hope it helps!

Thanks for the pics. KP provided some additional detail & I really like the look. I was wrong about the rails, hoped for A ... but it it is a set of '32s. I wonder if there are some affordable '32 rails out there (Canada)? The project as expected is low budget, so a re-pop frame is unlikely. Parts collecting continues ...

PS unsolicited opinion ... I spend too much on books rather than parts (i.e. '32 rails [IMG]) ... but ... I just recieved Hot Rods: An American Original by Peter Vincent & it is fantastic. If you were to purchase only one book for visual inspiration this would be the one.
