Still a lot of hand work to go, but it is taking shape.

Hey Blue, I shape metal on a stump, bag, or wheel. I form metal on on a wheel or bead roller with various dies. My grill surround was made using a stump and blocking hammer to raise the metal. Then a unique wheeling machine to do everything else. I will fine tune the shape by hand work with various dollies and hammers. Peter Tommasini has been my mentor for the last three years.

I would have to see your grill surround and what you need to do to restore it before I could give any advice.

Oh , I meant just your forming in general . The one part on my truck that is straight is the grill surround . I have Prters cds . They are great . I would love to have one of his wheels . I'm trying to just learn as much as I can . Working on a full buck in my spare time . I want to build a full body from scratch . I wish the metal meet had meetings out here in W TEX . Love to meet you some day Tony . Blue
