Handbrake push or pull ?

    Is there a preferred method or is it personal choice ?

    Yes.......I prefer pull, some people prefer push. Personally feel pull gives better feel and controllability.

    Others like the deceleration G-force ***ist of push.

    Different strokes.

    The bicep is the strongest muscle in the arm and it does more work in the pulling than any other way. the only advantange is you are pushing against the seat and pulling against the safty straps. As long as you are strapped in good I believe the advantage is better pulling. Just my 2 1/2 cents worth.:pRoy

    I've only had pull on any of my cars.. I guess it's what you get use to.....

    We went with push, my personal choice as well. However this is on a car fully equipped with both so that we use the lever for staging & launch and the pedal for stopping.

    Ours is a pull and feels comfortable. I figured the decel of a car would make the push work sometimes when you didnt want it to?????
