I have a 1926 model t . The fuel comes from a gravity fed gas tank. The handle broke that allows full flow and if you want to shut off fuel. Do they make a replacement handle? Im assuming the fitting is really stuck so I am using pb blaster. If the valve doesn't come off what can I do? Thanks Jerry
I may be jumping the gun on my fuel shut off handle.I have been soaking the valve that's threaded to the fuel tank with wd40. I haven't tried to take it off. But what can I do if the shut off valve won't come off? I am going to try and change the lever but I want took what if? Thanks Jerry
Sometimes I over think things. It’s called paralysis by over analysis. If I can’t take off original ball valve leave it open and put a shut off valve in between valve and carburetor. Like I said sometime I get stupid. Thanks Jerryt
Lots of Model T parts suppliers around. Is it a frame or cowl mounted tank? A friend added an electric shut off to his Model A. He forgot and left the switch on for a week = dead battery. This one goes at the carb https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/product.htm?pid=981111&cat=41877
