I currently make high-end custom duck calls and wondering if anyone would be interested in some custom made shifter knobs? If someone could post some pictures of unique shifter knobs to get my creativity flowing would be helpful. Just wondering what kind of market there would be for this and what people would be willing to pay for these. What is an average price on unique shifter knobs you can buy at a store? How many different sizes (threads, bore, length) of knobs are there approximately? Is there any way to make them universal and still look decent? I'll post some pics of my work and you can check out my website for more if you are interested. http://www.bearkraft.com
    Thanks,
    Bear

I think that first one would make a sweet shifter, if you would be willing to make one for me i might be persuaded to pay for for it, pm me if you want.

Howdy - nice work. Maybe I'm wrong, but I bet there would be a more lucrative market in Kustom Shift Knobs than in duck calls. You might be on the right track, however I'll give you a piece of advice and suggest you introduce yourself in the appropriate spot here on the HAMB. You are probably more likely to get more responses when people know a bit more about you. Welcome aboard.

Sorry for not introducing myself first. Here is a link to my intro post

Red Baron, I appreciate the offer, but I want you to know what goes into something like that. I have no problem with making a shifter like that, but that duck call sells for $400. There are no power tools that do that stuff for you, it's all hand-carving and hand-checkered. I have about 30-40 hours in that call alone! I kinda wanted to start off with something a tad easier for prototyping.

    Thanks,
    Bear
