Managed to score this little gem tonight. Came home under its own power with no issues. Pleased as punch! Still got that big grin on my face from the first ride!

How could you not smile driving that tub!

I think JUGHEAD from the Archie comics would be the perfect Halloween costume for you this year.

Thanks for the comments, really wish I had been driving it, sadly been halfway across the country for work. Still, a few things were waiting for me when I got back tonight. Scored a set of OK 45v fin Buick drums. One fin missing off each of them but looks like they are otherwise quite serviceable. Decided to go the whole hog an sent a cheque to Wilson Welding for a pair of finned backing plates. That should get things started.
As requested, a few more photos, sorry about the light.

Good score. reminds me of one that 3 friends and I built out of a near perfect 31 2dr we scored from a Nebraska farmer. Bought new by his grandfather he kept it around for sentimental reasons after his grandad p***ed. Several hack saw blades later we had the perfect ride to the high school football games. We paid $100 in 1961 and sold it the following summer for $75 to a restorer who couldn't stop complaining about us "butchering a nice old Model A". He was only interested in the drivetrain so his rant fell on deaf ears.

Got to warn you......this is how it starts.... First one and then another and pretty soon your garage is full of model a's. (i now have five model a's) started out with an innocent little '29 2dr. Quickly followed by three '30 coupes and a '30 2dr. Parted with a 2dr and brought home a '28 phaeton that drives. Sooooo beware!!
