I remember when I totally didn't know what that was, but I knew I wanted it.

 

Was loading up my display at the LARS many years ago and when I turned around there sat Ed in one of my chairs. We spent about 30 minutes talking about the T5 kit, the 409 water pump kit and the fuel injection I was selling at the time. He thought they were all good ideas to benefit a flathead. He was great conversation and really interesting. A moment I won't forget. Happy belated Birthday Ed.

 

Ed is a national treasure! His face deserves to be on Mt Rushmore.

I had the good fortune of meeting Ed (with Bones) at the Melt Down.
He had a sincere smile and handshake for anyone that wanted to meet
him and wanted me in one of the photos. I graciously declined but he
insisted. He made me laugh and left me feeling good. God bless, Ed.

Ed Iskenderian turned 100 on Sat. 7/10/21 A great turnout for Ed's birthday party despite the 100+ temps.

 

Dude has a his cell phone hanging from his neck. 100 years old.....and counting.

 

Saw him a couple of weeks ago at the Speedster Reunion at Speedway Motors on Lincoln NE.. He was the hit of the party. He even rode up the Hill Climb in a Case Speedster.

I called the company in Ca to get their opinion which would be the best cam for me to use.
It's the flathead in my avatar. Guess who they put on the ph ?? That's wright - Ed. What a guy.
We talked for 15 min.

Wow.
So he and his roadster were born about the same time. And neither of them was really very old when Ed hot-rodded that Model T. And both of them have remained pretty much the same through the years... cool as can be.
