First time I met Norm was in Louisville. We were staying at the same hotel across the street from the fairgrounds of the 2004 Street Rod Nationals. Norm was gracious enough to sign the dash on my giveaway RPU. Great guy.
What a Funny man .First time I met him ,I think was the Nationals in St Paul, '88? he was cleaning the Henway. Yeah, I fell for that one. Then he started cracking off cracking One- liners, until I was about to fall on the floor. Just me and him havin fun. Met him many years later he remembered me from that encounter. He came up to me and asked if remembered him? A truly kindhearted person who "Got It".
I met Norman when the N.S.R.A. NATS SOUTH was held in Winston Salem, He was a characther.I also met Pete & Jake and Jim Ewing at the same motel. They didn't know me from Adams house cat but treated me like a long lost friend. HRP
