You just had to remind me, right? OK, only 63. Hell, at my last platelette donation I logged 100/70 @ 50, not too bad for a geezer, eh? Guess if you're up for it I might have a race or two left in me. Going to look over some blocks & heads for the Barn Job's engine build later this week. Looks like August'll be as she is now, but could possibly have it in for the final in October. Did score a cool old Dodge flattie oil bath air cleaner for the BBD. I gutted it and converted it to paper. It's now green of course.
Happy Birthday, Young'un. Why, I can remember back when I was 63.....sort of. What are you planning for pistons for the new, hotter engine?
Happy Birthday ****, you are a month and a day older than me, and I am three days older than Bill Clinton. So you are older than a ex president that has been out of office more than eight years. Joe
Oh, that helps. Thank you gentlemen. I got to spend the day with my longest standing buddy Tom (64 DODGE 440) and his wonderful wife Patti. They grilled some meat & corn, had some potato salad, deviled eggs, and completed the shameless stuffing with strawberry shortcake. We solved all the world's problems except my cam and I generally had about the best plain old birthday in a long time. Came home to your kind wishes on this board to boot. 63's starting out pretty damn good. Thanks again.
