Memorial Weekend -- During all the fun and cruisin this weekend, don't forget to take a moment to remember those who served, Those who've died and those who are currently away from loved ones, who have and are giving their lives for your freedom. That's what this holiday is about!

absolutely. i do and make sure everybody i know knows about it. localy there is a memorial day weekend bike ride for veterans. i rode in it when i had my bike. its very moving. when you ended up at a vetrans lookout point on top of a mountain overlooking the river at a vetrans memorial park. with a ceramony by vetrans and finished off by a 21 gun salute. i still remember the chill bumps it gave me and still is right now and tears in my eyes. there are vetrans of all ages recognized and participating in the cramonies. remeber to say thanks to our vetrans not only on vetrans day but also on memorial day.

I feel ya, the gun salute always moves me, but I think the thing that brings a lump in my throat and makes me uncontrollably cry is when I see the planes or hellos perform the "Missing Man" maneuver. Kills me every time!! (personal reasons) This is a rather long winded video but still relates,The helo at the end, heading for the heavens is the knockout punch! http://youtu.be/pIRQ9xZbSsU
