I hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving as many of you will be traveling to your destination to visit family & friends.

Please take a moment to remember our men and women who put themselves in harms way for us to be able to have the freedoms we enjoy in America, contrary to popular belief ~ Freedom is not free! HRP

    Hey HRP,

The big area in So Cal is Camp Pendleton. It is just south of Orange County on the I-5 Freeway. It is huge, gives drivers on the freeway an open land area that shows some great scenery for many miles. It is the last remaining open green space from one big metropolitan area to the next. The latest impressive building on the grounds is the military hospital, right next to the I-5 Freeway. (It once had the best surfing spot in the world, hidden from the freeway by a huge tropical jungle near South San Clemente)

The young military is always something to consider when the holidays approach. The local cities always set up organizations to help the families on the base. Being a hot rodder/military guy/girl or not, hope these cards can give some laughter to the season.

Anyone can alter these cards or set up steps. It is fun and easy. They are Grand Daughter approved ! As anyone can see, the steps are fun and it did not take long to get a finished product ready for delivery.

The feathers fold down into the actual card and when opened, the feathers pop up to greet the card holder. There is a do it yourself envelope to adjust to the size of the project.

I call this the “Number 1” card that can be altered many different ways…some copy and paste, some finger outlining, some computer drawing, etc.

Thanks to Ron F. and Lou W. for the cool, sedan delivery photos.

While we in the US reenact the first thanksgiving, thanking God for our brave new world by overeating with our new future casino hosts, the Canadians are likely thankful that chose a site a few miles south to wash ashore and the British can be thankful that we all left in the first place.

It seems counterintuitive but happy turkey day to the HAMB and always remember no matter what you are serving for dinner, there is room for all of God's creatures...next to the mashed potatoes. :D

Bill,I was totally unaware of the Atomic Industries crash due to my own PC going down in flames before the hamb,I had to call in a computer technician to get me back up and running.

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. HRP
