Makes me think of @travisfromkansas 48 cars in 48 states trip!

I’ve also been thinking about a small trailer behind my 46 but more like the ones seen in the book “the birth of hot rodding”

It’s way cool. From the days of use what you’ve got, adapt the plan from Popular Mechanics. Done.

In my youth, we used to go tent camping, along the Frejolis Creek, at Bandelier National Monument in the Jemez Mountains... the outing would be coordinated to include the Taylor family and their homebuilt, teardrop camper....
It was the mobile kitchen for the motley crew.... you triggered the ingrained memory of the smell of bacon and eggs intermingled Coleman stove fuel ...... little did we know at the time, we were glamping
I know why it is on your list.....

Didn’t the boss Ryan go through a camper phase a few years ago eventually buying a shiny aluminum model? There were loads of cool vintage camper photos in that thread. I think a teardrop build-your-own trailer shop/school would be a going concern if someone had the space and $$ to get it off the ground. There is also a pretty good message board for teardrop trailers, though I haven’t looked at it in quite a while.

Love them teardrop trailers and how it just fits together so well. I’m going to have to build me one. I have seen plans back in the day in popular science.
