It says "Not good on anything you came here for, Schmuck, but as long as you're here buy some stuff at regular prices".

So much hatred for some of the good things. I have an alumn jack I bought from H/F that is past the 20 yr mark. The 4.5 hand held grinders ,sanders, zizz wheel tools are great. I have 4 ,1 for each set of tools.
Not for everybody. My 2 cents.

I`m glad for you the aluminum floor jack has held up. Just use a GOOD set of jack stands. Every time. Bought 3 cut off wheel tools at a garage sale that came from their for $ 5 each. Couldn`t p*** it up. The disc broke in one while using it. Never had a problem in 30 years using good quality discs. One of the tools I have to spin to get going. They look like new condition. Just from my experience with them. Almost everytime. I`m not trying to say the place sells less than par stuff.

    Boy Howdy!

FWIW, I'm not a HF hater. Got some things there over the years that are OK. Aluminum jack, XT Earthquake impact, purple guns, odd-ball rare-use hand tools, etc. I just wish if they wave the 20% flag, make it worthwhile, minus the fine ****ing print.

Not a hater either. In my experience they are one of the better run chains. My store is always well staffed, of at least average intelligence and language skilled employees, and before the virus came along had most everything in stock. And they do now carry many levels of quality in their products. Being a non-pro, and a cheapskate, I generally go with the bottom line and don't ***** about the quality. Almost always gets the job done and easily returnable if not.

Not hating on HF they sell tools of varying quality. My dads advise was buy good tools. He said he bought some tools that were not good enough to use, but looked to good to throw away. Just remembering Dad.

I just wonder about the people who get a cart and fill it up. Then they know the workers by name and say see you next week. Happens when I do go in their, as one of my friends loves that place. But then again. He keeps his air blower in the same drawer as his hammers. ? He has a big HF toolbox. For the tools he buys, you would think he would already have them at the age of 72.
