Technical Hard Top Doors

Hey all. I need some help. I will be converting a 49 Merc coupe into a hard top and need ideas on where to cut the door top along the a pillar, notching, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

Find some pics of a 49 Merc convertible and do them the same. If you could find some convertible doors they would be ideal.

The factory repair manual should show details of convertible door construction.
