I'm going to be chopping the top on my '51 Tudor pretty soon, looking to make it a hardtop, chopped 4/6. Has anyone done this and had functional front and rear gl***? Do you have pics of how you got the gl*** set up and sealed? The car's gonna be a driver and I'd like it to be somewhat comfortable. Maybe I'm just retarded right now but I'm not seeing it...

On my 41 when I actually get around to getting front gl*** I am going to make the gl*** go almost all the way to the channel (or old door frame) but stop just shy (so the door can open with the gl*** up) and then I am going to get a very small "L" type trim that will be attached to the top (or old door frame) that the gl*** will seal to from the inside of the car using a rubber or felt strip on it when the door is shut and windows are up (it will be black so it will be not very detectable when the gl*** is down but will still hang lower than the roof (old door frame). Hope that makes since (hard to describe without showing)

Thats seems like the way to go. For the rears I've seen removable gl*** panels, but for a daily that seems like a bit too much of a pain in the *** if it starts rainin on ya. Kustom41 keep me updated that sounds like a killer idea.
