Hi! Been searching a while now for harrell los angeles cylinder heads for the 59A. Does anyone know where to find a pair of these? Or if someone have a pair 4 sale?
The Harrell Engines & Racing Equipment book published in 2009 tells us that the patterns were sold a number of times and eventually ended up with Gordy Cushman of Rockford,IL. Gordy collaborated with a firm in Minnesota, their web address is www.lakeheaders.com, to produce heads in 2008, but a check of the catalog at that website shows no flathead heads available. It appears production was limited to a few pair.
