Has Anyone ever done a 53 54 chevy putting S10 rear end....

Supp everyone I had a question I was wondering if anybody in the H.A.M.B ever done a rearend swap on a 53 54 chevy car with a S10 rear end im haveing problem on clearing the leafs with out any problems.the rear end messures 47 backing plate to backing plate and thats what my leafs messure from end side to another..Thanks Everyone

You might also try a S-10 4x4 rearend, they are wider. But the Camaro/Nova rear is going to be stronger

 

Yea I ran into problems with that rear end so now I need to find another one its a good thing I didnt pay anything for that rear end...lol...I shouldint of beleved them..lol

 

I'd agree ,go with the camaro /nova rearend,youcan even find a posi one fairly easy.a buddy of mine put one in his 52 chevy and it was a bolt in,i;ve got one in the 56 from like a 79 camaro z28,also bolted right in.
