    I am considering home-brewing a 3 - 2BBL manifold for a 351Cleveland.

I have several ideas in mind, including modification to a THROTTLE BODY intake.

What ideas, input or just basic information do any of you fine people have to offer? I need a little gourmet food for thought...

    Thanks,

    Hey...
Made an intake for my Pontiac, the main thing I found is to use a dummy block & heads for welding

    tubing?
    plenum?

SamIyam made a dual carb for the "Roach Rod" from an aluminium single plane.
If you do a search you'll find several varieties from modified aluminium to steel tube "U-fabs"...

Oh...almost forgot...welcome aboard! (Even though you've been swimming these waters for a couple of months!)

Glad to be aboard! Thank You.

is it possible to use a stock manifold and slice the carb mount along with the top of the plane and weld on your own mounting plates... (well i guess anything is possible if you have the will).

    has anybody attempted this here?

I made a 4 X 2 Stromberg intake adapter for a friend of mine's 302 Ford. I CNC'd it from billet piece of aluminum. That's the beaty of CNC, it you can think it, I can make it!

I'm going to do the same with my caddy 500, i have a spare engine that I'' weld on, I'm giving a buddy, at a machine shop, I'm going to give him the inake runner gaskets, and whateverer carb I end up using and tell him to dupplicate them with 3/8 steel and weld in exhaust tubing to finish it up.

Some Aussie on here did EXACTLY what you're thinking about for a Windsor....and there are A LOT more Clevos than Windsors in Australia!

  14. I think Chopperman made a Supercharger intake for his flathead out of a stock alum. 2 barrel manifold.

I have a friend that built a 4 X 4 intake for a 425 Olds motor. Yep, four Quadrajet carbs on one intake. One primary and one secondary for each cylinder. You should hear that thing wind out. Sounds like nothing you ever heard.
