Has anyone re-threaded early Ford spindles?

Pewplace is the new holder of the "Damn I am so bored I am going to go look for the longest dead thread I can find to answer" trophy.

I picked this one up in the last year or so from someone who had it in a yard sale or the guy who who has a table of tools set up at the flea market here in town.
