Has anyone restored a cracked steering wheel?

    Bondo was NO GOOD.
    good thing I tried it on my crappier wheel.

    Koch's in Santa Clarita, CA. specializes in restoring steering wheels. I have done what many of the above posters have said: V out the cracks, apply 2 part JB Weld, file and sand, epoxy prime and finish sand, top coat with Krylon - works great!

    yeah ive done two with jb weld and they came out pretty nice.

    First post I found that mentions v-ing out the cracks, and thats important, as the shit and grime thats in there is decades worth of skin oils. Dont have to tell you, oil and paint/epoxy not a good combination.
