Has anyone seen a sign like this Waggoner Petroleum

    Does anyone know the history of this sign? I saw it for sale at an estate sale

    Look up Waggoner Ranch in Vernon Texas. The Triple D's is their brand. They also have a LOT of oil wells.
    They're still in business.

    I agree. You don't see the large ones very often. At least I don't see them very often, then again I had to really look to see that one:confused: Maybe I need glasses.

    Just because something is rare does not mean it is valuable. It might be rare because it was undesirable when new.

    Larger signs are more difficult to sell because most people don't have the room to display them.

    1500 is not bad .im sure it would bring more in a auction setting. i have seen a globe with that image on it. that a friend had and sold for big money . thats is a very rare image. and a good find. if it were mine . id have it restored and send it thru barret /jackson petro auction. im sure it would hit 4/ 5 k.

    also its not that big looks like 46 inch big ones are 6 to 8 ft . if i had the extra money i love to buy it ..but i dont .
