    Hi guys,

I remember seeing on a thread here about this same topic before but I wasn't able to find it.

Does anyone know a reliable shipping company or someone that has done this before that could provide that service for me? I have a VW Bus in Mexico City that I would like to have shipped over to Orange County CA.

I've contacted a few shipping companies but they require the car to be dropped off at the Port. I've never done this before so anythoughts on how I should go about this? I figured it would also be cheaper to have someone with a trailer just drive it over to TJ and I can just drive it accross since it's running.

    Thanks in advance

One of Ed Roth's bubble top cars was found in Mexico. Less the top and grill The guy that bought it trailered it back home,it was in rough shape . The border officers called it a old dune buggy, probably thinking why haul junk like that to the US ,little did they know it was really worth big bucks as is.LOL.Later It was restored to original show condition.

  5. Times - they have a changed ...;)

Get the Seller to meet you or your designated hauler on the US side
of the border and take delivery there ....

Last time I was in Douglas, AZ picking up a car at the house
of a border patrol agent, my cell phone was stolen out of my
truck while we were talking at his front door 50 feet away.

hey guys thanks for the comments. I dont log in here often so I just saw your comments. I will definitely contact magoozy and sled to see in either one is interested. I still haven't found a reliable source so hopefully it works out.

Im in the process of getting it all the paperwork for it up to date so that I can just drive it across the border.

as for having the seller ship it over it's a bit late for that. I bought the bus a while back and had all the body work done for real cheap out there so now I just need to get it over to finish it.
