Customs Has anyone taken one of these apart?

I would like to polish the pot metal door strikers on my '62 Bel Air wagon. I believe I once saw a video on how to remove the pin, spring and bumper, but I'm unable to find it again. Has anyone takes one of these apart recently and can describe the process? I'd like to keep the originals. Thanks!
