way to tell Denny about the artwork i had done for him as a SURPRISE. luckily you did'nt completely know what you were talking about and neither did he. were'nt you paying attention when we told you not to tell. no harm done though. i gave both him and Paul the artwork i had Brush do up for them and they loved. it was just my way of showing my appreciation for all these two have taught me about building hot rods. it's just fitting that the artwork has both of their cars sittin on the salt, as they are best friends. neither one are HAMBers (though Denny occasionaly Lurks. he is HOTRODDRUMMER's dad) so this is just to rub it in HATCH's face that he ALMOST blew it. i've told BRUSH already how grateful i am and i will tell him again at least a few more times. he already knows how damn good he is. -----everyone loves it BRUSH. and NO, i don't think we'll be making any more prints of this one. i want it to be special and right now there are only the 3 prints. one for Denny, one for Paul and one for me.

I think hatch may have almost blown it before Nice touch Mike... those guys will enjoy having that art for a long time. Brush rules
Mike..you got it right in the first sentence. I didn't know the art was going to be a gift. I wasn't told and had no idea what the plan was. You may have told alot of people at autorama, but I wasn't one of them. If I had been told, I certainly wouldn't have said anything. The subject came up after Gary saw the artwork on the HAMB and mentioned it to Denny.
damn Gary. i thought it was safe to have it in the friday art show since Denny was in Indy all weekend and i planned to see him first thing Monday (today). luckily he stopped by class for a visit yesterday BEFORE he had a chance to look for it on the HAMB. it did'nt help that he cam eback from Indy a day early either. but thats alright. he did'nt see it, know who it was from or know what it was about till i gave it to him. he was WAAAAY surprised, but it was a close one.
Hey look at Mikey, Sandwitched between greatness . That was a very cool thing you did for those guys Mike.
