Roothawg's post about converting photographs to line drawings got me to playing around with the idea a little. (Using a free program that came with a $30 junk digital camera...the camera sucked...but the program ROCKS! I use it with my scanner.) Here's a picture of Hatch's bad motor scooter turned into Hack Art!!! <img src=http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid94/p7bf9ce2f2b8ca77619f3b70d16b7efe3/fa3a34eb.jpg> (Took a pic that Hatch posted, lightened it, added contrast, then turned the color saturation down and converted it to sketch form. Then went to negative and cleaned it up a little in Paint.) Actually kinda fun!
Well...it's official...Fab32 witnessed me "on the road" today....in the rain..shiftin gears!!!!....I'm lovin it. Here's a pic after the ride.
Even though this is a big twin...I love upswept fishtails....think I'll build a set....and no apes on this one.....(sorry hack)
Yea, I showed up for lunch today at the Hatchery, to find the heads on the Harley still warm. After the required guest lecture on the vertues of antique cycling up went the garage door. Hatch proceded to fire the beast up and out the door he went, into the rain and traffic. No plates, no helmet, no insurance, no brains (OPPS that slipped) and merged with traffic (the traffic had no choice), rode to the end of the block and proceeded to use a private drive (and lawn) for a U turn and back to World Headquarters. I didn't have a camera or everyone would be able to share the lunacy. No one from the hospital showed up to escort him back to his cell so it looks like the neighbors should pray for snow so he will put it away until spring. I'm going to watch the news from now on so I won't miss the next episode. Frank
