Event Coverage Havana IL , May 19 spring nostalgic race

This is the 2nd year for this event, last year only a fall race. Now one spring and one fall. There was a pretty good turnout last year and should only get bigger.

Anyway, i'm going with my 55. Anyone else planning on making this event?

There should be 10 -12 cars from the Y-Block/57 Ford group.. We are having a spring meet at this event

 

looks like the perfect "mini" weekend getaway. any lodging available nearby?

Unfortunately it is the same weekend as the Rust Revival, but I will make the fall show.

 

I think I'm going to take Friday off and participate in the test & tune at least. I don't know if I'll be back on Saturday to compete though, I'm really not set up good enough to do that.

I wish it wouldn't conflict with the Rust Revival, well maybe next year.
