Technical Have any of you cut up a car with a hatchet?

Seeing the****le of this thread reminded me of a story my dad has told me more than once. In the early 50s he had this 31 Buick that his young bro in law wanted really bad. He promised my dad he would fix it up and paint it and drive it. So my dad gave it to him. About a week later my dad was driving south out of town and passed by the local scrap yard. Right out there close to the road were a couple guys choppin up the Buick with axes. My uncle had sold it to the scrapper for $15 . Needless to say my dad was pissed. He's almost 90 and can laugh about it now. That's him on the drivers fender of said Buick.
