Have you installed a headliner in a 1950 Ford?

I finished up an interior on A 40 last month. Never removed the rear window.

    Good info here. Thanks guys.

My 49 Shoebox didn’t come with the bows. Sourced them out & found that factory stamped each bow with a number at ends of bows. Pretty cool…genius move

Question: why is there 2 holes at each driver & passenger headliner mounting locations? Someone suspected the bows need a retainers clip? Can anyone confirm or debunk that please & thanks again

I can see old headliner material around rear window. It seems there’s a trim piece around rear window on inside of car that sandwiches the headliner between window opening & trim piece.

Question 2: Does that trim piece come off or do I shove the headliner in with a plastic putty knife as described to do over door openings?

RockinRivi-----Headliner is meant to go in before rear window. It can be done after rear glass is in but it is harder.
