This car was auctioned at Monterey in August. The gentleman who built the car in the early '80's, Clayton Lutes, called me this week to see if I knew where the car was now. He has been able to talk with each owner since he sold the car in 1997, and would like to talk with the current owner about the build. Do you know where it is now? Any clues would be appreciated. obviously acquired by some gold-chainer who is fully aware of his chances if he shows up in here - even to read the mail.
Why is that "Obvious"? And it's comments like this that keep a lot of folks away from here. What was the point!

I dont think that will be just sitting in a barn. It was built to be drivin. It will turn up. Hope he can speak with the new owner. May I ask if he loves it so much why did he sell it. I so understand sometimes you have to but he seems pretty attatched. Usually if I sell something its because I am done with it. Its sure candy to the eye.
