I'm about 20 miles S.E. of Wash. D.C. We've got 8-10" on the ground, it's near blizzard conditions, with 12-14 more to come. Spring can't get here soon enough for me....Don.

It looks like a record setter. In my 65 years there have only been a half dozen storms to remember. It looks like this one will be high on that list if it keeps up which it is supposed to.

I love the run of the mill snow storms to get out and cut donuts in the empty parking lots but you ain't doing that in this storm. We are in the bulls eye of the show accumulation which is calling for up to 24"

It's not snowing this far south, but it has been raining and is really windy right now. Just bad enough to cancel the first car show I was going to enter.

I didn't see snow till I was 10 when we moved from San Diego to a little town called Bridgeton in Mo. Big snows were common there & you couldn't keep us inside. There are a lot of kids in my neighborhood & there are only 2 out playing in this stuff. Times change!

  22. I don't think it's too bad here in South Mississippi, but my yard helper from Guatemala is looking a little pale and his elbows and knees no longer bend.

We've gotten 3" since the start of this thread and it is steady comin down, the dark green of that map is right over my shop. This is a small town and it is stopped right up, nothing moving.
Safe to say that Fred isn't bringing his '40 coupe in today for the new shifter and brake work. If i was smart i'dve learned to work on backhoes, that way i'd have something around here to get rid of the snow! Later, oj
